A little bit about the role…

As InUnison's PART-TIME Programs & Member Engagement Coordinator, you will be the engine behind our programs and the experience our members have with us, from the first touchpoint to ongoing engagement. You will bring structure, organization, and energy to everything from benefits coordination to events to marketing handoffs, ensuring seamless coordination and execution. If you are energized by event planning, thrive on logistics and communication, and love being part of something mission driven, this role might just be your perfect match.

No two days at InUnison are alike, and we mean that in the best way. You will help shape our member experiences, keep things moving across teams, and play a key part in delivering high quality programs that help Richmond’s independent businesses grow and connect. On any given day, week, or month, you will:

Event & Program Logistics

  • Coordinate all logistics for mentorships, roundtables, community events, and grant-related programs.
  • Book venues, organize catering, prep materials, create signage, manage RSVPs, and build run-of-show documents.
  • Provide day-of support for events, including occasional early mornings or evenings (2–3 times/month).
  • Collect feedback and compile event metrics to evaluate impact and improve future programming.

Membership Support & Lead Management

  • Track warm leads, referrals, and event interest through our CRM or lead tracker.
  • Collaborate with the Member Success Manager to move leads through the engagement funnel.
  • Prepare welcome kits and organize follow-ups for program participants and event attendees.
  • Support administrative tasks that help keep our member journey seamless and personalized.

Marketing & Promotion Coordination

  • Act as a key liaison between program, marketing, and membership teams.
  • Maintain a clear promotional calendar and ensure timely execution of marketing deliverables.
  • Make sure event pages, email campaigns, and social content are accurate and aligned.
  • Spot communication or promotion gaps and work cross-functionally to fix them fast.

To be successful in this role, you must be:

  • Organized + Detail Oriented – You have a system for everything. You love checking boxes and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Whether it is planning a multi-part event or managing a spreadsheet of RSVPs, your attention to detail is your superpower.
  • Communicative + Collaborative – You are a natural connector. You know how to keep multiple teams on the same page, give updates before people ask, and make sure information flows smoothly between marketing, membership, and programs.
  • Efficient + Tech-Savvy – You are no stranger to Microsoft Office, shared drives, CRMs, and productivity tools. You embrace technology to streamline tasks and are not afraid to troubleshoot a platform or two along the way.

To be successful at InUnison, you must be:

  • Self-Motivated + Proactive – You do not wait for direction. You take initiative, own your responsibilities, and are not afraid to ask questions or make improvements.
  • Honest + Transparent – You communicate clearly, respectfully, and openly whether you are collaborating with a teammate or providing feedback on what is not working.
  • Personable + Approachable – You enjoy building relationships and connecting with people. Whether you are emailing a member or coordinating with a venue, your friendly and helpful demeanor sets the tone.
